Spoilers have reveled that Jenny has been sent away to boarding school for punishment for sharing information with William Van Der Woodsen. She will probably be back in time for November Sweeps. There are also rumors that Jessica Szohr’s character, Vanessa Abrams, will also be absent from several episodes of season 4 because Vanessa will be working abroad for CNN. However, both of these characters will still be considered series regulars. Its possible that Michelle Trachtenberg who plays Georgina Sparks will be back with an agenda to replace Jenny and Vanessa while they are absent. Leighton Meester stated in an interview filming would start in Paris, France for season 4.
