its the day peoplez, skins is going to air on mtv tonight! i first i was like "fuck it, i dont wanna watch american remakes" but now i'm confident this show'll do good. i mean, i already know what the show's all about. i hope they didnt do too many changes, since us americans have a habit to downgrade the juicy stuff.
but what im pissed about is why did they make the anorexic girl black? and the protagonist' best friend doesn't even look like sid at all plus they got rid of the gay kid and jal...... and replaced them with an asian girl.... yes, i know this americanized show is going to do extremely bad. i mean honeslty, why the fuck mtv would pick it up? they are going to make it crappy. can they just change the whole idea and make it our own thing? why do we have to copy everything that's already been made? i mean damn... we're such copycats now. i hope you understood my extreme sarcasm i wrote above.
honesly, if i were you, i would seriously watch the original skins. us american kids haven't seen shit yet when it comes to actuall teen drama shows. degrassi? forget about it, degrassi is canadian damnit. we can't express ourselves when it comes to teen sexuality(i guesss we can blame that on gossip girl, welcome to america people!) wow, we suck.
