It really makes no difference where Selma Hayek happens to be, what she’s wearing or how her hair looks, the woman is gorgeous. We caught up with Selma getting off of a water taxi in Venice as she made her way to a Palazzo Grassi Art Museum opening. Stunning. Honestly, the woman was sprinkled with magical fairy dust at birth!Of course, that doesn’t always mean she’ll get movie parts. She opened up to The Sunday Times recently about the fact that she’s been passed over for roles because of her accent or the fact that she’s Mexican. Selma doesn’t let it bother her though. She just takes it in stride and realizes that often times idiots are in charge. Or, and this might just be our opinion, maybe the characters she’s auditioning for have a different accent? It’s a thought. We’re just playing the devils advocate here.
