Not quite over Prada's bright banana prints, neon stripes, and Stella McCartney's fruitful prints! The banana graphics remind me of Andy Warhol's work, and the loud monkey and and South-American inspired prints make me want to travel. What do you guys think?

Fashion Trend - Nautical Look

The nautical look was made fashionable by Coco Chanel in the 20’s. The fashion icon was having an affair with the Duke of Westminster, a huge yachting fan, and began to take on the attire of a sailor after observing fishermen on her holidays. She wore wide-legged sailor pants, striped boatneck sweaters and flat boating shoes. Her androgynous style appealed to other independent women of the time like Katharine Hepburn.

How to wear this trend:

Look for simple pieces with a nautical feel. Navy and whites paired with gold or red accents can be traditional, but feel free to experiment but adding your own take on this trend.

Wear a thin navy and white horizontal-striped sweater with wide leg navy or white pants and a gold bangle bracelet for a timeless nautical feel.

Remember that a well-tailored navy blazer with white jeans captures a simple but classic nautical feel that you can wear anywhere.
