i should be finishing schoolwork, but im soo lazy today. its due within a few dayyyyyys. idk whats wrong with me today. i guess i woke up on the worng side of the bed. im soo happy for tommorrow. its good to be away for awhile. hehe, today is such an "odd" tooday. i was reading the news this morning about the leonid meteor showers that've been going on recently, and supposively someone from Midrand, South Africa took some footage of the meteor showers, and it look almost like an alien invansion? haha.. i saw the video, nothing tooo serious. i think its because whoever filmed this was very close to the wndow. the other footage i've seen of the meteor showers looked the same, like a big explosion in the sky. and you can tell its a meteor in this video, the worlds not gonna end.

november comes and goes, its thanksgiving..

soo vacation started for me today. not really going away this years, like always. i wonder whats in store for me in december. idk why but each december something good happens to me. its been like this for two years now. december of 07' i made a new friend, december of 08', well, lets just i was "lusting" for someone. i cannot what for next month, and its only like a week away!!!!! im kinda scared about 2010 though. so far the first decade of the century is over.. crazy...


...and i though 2006 started yesturday..


by that time 2NE1 will release their first full album! omg i can't fucking wait. hpefully itunes will put their songs up. i cannot stand itunes sometimes. i need more asian singers on my ipod. i only have wondergirls and morning musume :p.

its been a year since i've heard new material from miss hyori. maybe its because she too busy acting on tv dramas.. but from what i've read her contract with her record company has expired??? oh well, i hope her fourth album will be a hit :D most of her songs are sooo addicting, i cannot stop listening to "mr big" or "u go girl".

thats right. lately i've been slacking on my fashion sense, idk what to wear for school anyore. this is embarrasing, because this was basically my 2009 resolution: "to fix my apparence and never to look like a geek or a three year old again." even though i DID buy some new stuff for school, i feel like im missing things that'll look good with my sweaters,boots, etc. idkk.

right now its gotten worse. my sis and i have been thinking 'bout dying our hair blond. it sucks how for black people "its a sterotype to bye your hair blond. that means you want to be white!!!!!!" bullshit. blond hair dosent work for everyone. i can dye my hair because not only would it look good on me i have the right skin tone( im fair skinned.)

like most girls we're go on our favorite website, youtube!!!!!!! we found so many black girls who have died their hair bllond, and they look goooooood XD.

this is so far my fav color, honey blond.



but at the same time im still very skeptical. i mean i think this color maybe a little bit dark for me.

i love discovering new music

i've been reading and listening to alot of asian music.. just yesturday, from viewing a youtube video on how to get your friends into asian music, i came across a japanese singer who goes by two names: tommy february6 and tommy heavenly6..



her real name is Tomoko Kawase, and she's the vocalist for the brilliant green. when the brilliant green took a break, she started her solo carrer under her alter-ego Tommy February6. her charecter is known to be very sweet and sings j-pop that is "influenced by 80's synth-pop music". aside from her music, she does what she wants, and constantly gets drunk in her music videos. However, tomoko became unimppressed with this character, so she took off her trademark glasses to create a new alter-ego named tommy heavenly 6(who suppossivly came from a dream february6 had "in which she embraces all the elements of her personality she had previously been repressing").

instead of retiring her old alert ego, she keeps the two characters separate. releasing a best album unter february6 and a third album under heavenly 6 back in february of this year.

i still cant believe she's only 34.

besides kawase, i watched videos of 2NE1 covering songs from rhianna and chris brown :x.. im begging to love this band more and more.
bommie unnie has such a strong voice, i do feel sorry for dara at times, her voice is somewhat soft.

i know she'll win this cycle.. she may be awkward in appearence and speech, but she has what it takes to be a model. if you give her a job to do she'll do it, cause she understands how to sell a project or take a great picture. i would love to see more people like her on tv. i think people who are "different" need to to show that they can do well like most people in this world. im sick and tired of people who act ghetto and pretend to be the shit when we already know that they're fake ass bicthes and they're on tv just to push people around and fuck around with them. its just plain annoying.

and what else is annoying, forgetting to follow BoA's growing success in america. im glad another asian is trying to break the sterotype that asians belong in their own country and should not be making "american" music. if they're trying TOO HARD, i can understand that. but BoA is unique. i love how her edgy music isnt mimicing britney spears nor beyonce. she makes it her own and it comes out beautifully

i'm falling in love with this new band. they debut back in june of this year, and now they're at the top. they're problably the biggest girl group to ever come out with such originality,its impressive to be winning various awards(their debut full album hasnt been released yet, wow). they got amazing vocals and charisma, who cares about their looks when they wake great music<33333

On the Go for Van Gogh

I Spent the Sunday afternoon at the Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena, where I enjoyed pieces by artists including Cezanne, Degas, & one of my favorites, Van Gogh. His painting, Mulberry Tree was beyond beautiful in person, & definitly stood out.  The paint strokes & vivid colors portray Van Gogh's immense emotions and his passion for nature. Doors behind the museum lead to a whimsical garden, lily pond, walking area, cafe, & everything necessary for an ideal day outdoors.
